1. The Golden Rule: Co-Wash First

Before your first install, co-wash the hair with a high-quality moisturizing conditioner. This “wakes up” the bundles, adds luster, and ensures the hair is clean and hydrated.

2. Daily Maintenance

• Detangling: Always use a wide-tooth comb or a paddle brush. Start from the ends and work your way up to the weft to prevent shedding.

• Product Use: Avoid heavy oils or waxes. Use a light serum (like Silk Elements or Biosilk) to keep the hair lightweight and bouncy.

• Night Routine: Never sleep on wet hair. Use a satin or silk bonnet/pillowcase and put your hair in a loose braid or ponytail to prevent tangling.

3. The Deep Clean

• Wash every 1–2 weeks using sulfate-free shampoo.

• Use lukewarm water; hot water can strip the moisture and lead to frizz.

• Air dry whenever possible. If using a blow dryer, use a heat protectant and a cool/warm setting.
